Common Sense Neuroscience: Limiting Brain Power

What if all you could do is sell cars, or sell insurance or houses or build a house or whatever.  What if you limited the use of your brain to one thing. Wouldn’t that be like having only one program to work from. The other use of your brain was to watch TV and be a couch potato, or drink beer, or go shopping for dresses. What if you realized you were a limited being. Now you get the idea that you are a program in the Matrix ninty-five percent of the time and only less than five percent of your time are you conscious and creative.
If you used even a little larger part of your brain each day maybe you would not have the time to loot and riot and burn down buildings and destroy national monuments. Maybe, and just maybe, and I know it’s a long shot but you could live a life for the greater good., you could make a million dollars, you could raise brilliant kids, have a happy life, and be disease free.
Of course all this is neuroscience and factual. I think you have everything necessary to be brilliant and be an active part in your own existence and the existence of the world. I think you are the person I would want on my team. I like your chances to be creative and awake. bwell and carry on
