 NAVIGATORS HANDBOOK:

Hypnosis is an excellent means to practice relaxation. The steps are pretty simple, first stretch each muscle groups from your feet all the way up and through your face, stretch and relax each muscle group. The second step might be practice your breathing, breath in to the count of four, hold it to the count of seven, and exhale to the count of eight, do this three times. Following these two steps count backwards from ten to one slowly relaxing more and more. It’s important to keep your eyes closed from the start to reduce stimulation. From here your can mix your meditation along with connecting to your subconscious. As you study more in depth about hypnosis you will learn more techniques to use while in theta brain wave state, the safety and security of being in a trance, and the refreshing after effect.
