COMMON SENSE NEUROSCIENCE: BENEFITS OF MEDITATION r so numerous to us in the physical, emotional, and spiritual realm...to mention only a few..it lowers blood pressure, reduces cardiovascular risk, suppresses over one thousand stress related genes, increases nitric oxide which causes blood vessels to dilate, it lengthens tolomers on chromosomes, and on and on....another interesting advantage is that it is cheaper than psychotherapy and much easier to understand and may take half the time to resolve emotional issues...further it is now science that it is a key element in eliminating disease...best time to meditate r when ur brain goes through the normal transition of brain waves...early in the morning while waking and just before falling asleep...before people go to the doctor or therapist maybe getting started with doing meditation may help...plz contact me if u would like further consultation, education, and training on meditation..
